Daniel Ritchie

I am a PhD Student in Education at the University of California, Irvine, with a specialization in Digital Media. My research focus is interactive educational technology and technology education, and I work with Dr. Mark Warschauer, Dr. Ying Xu, and other amazing scholars at the UCI Digital Learning Lab.
My upcoming dissertation work will involve co-designing, engineering, and then testing both a curriculum and a web-based tool to teach gamified data literacy and artificial intelligence literacy to middle school students.
My hobbies and interests include playing video games, Dungeons and Dragons, soccer, and keeping up-to-date on Marvel movies.
